Empowering Vocational Education Students(VET): Digital Tools for Life Coping Skills
By integrating these digital tools into vocational education, the EU is taking significant strides toward decreasing the dropout rate. Empowering students with life coping skills not only equips them for the workforce but also enhances their overall quality of life. As we continue to adapt to the ever-changing landscape of education, these tools play a crucial role in nurturing resilient, adaptable, and successful students.
Better Study Life at VET-Institutions
The DIGI LIVES project aims to create new, inventive methods to approach the challenges that students at many VET institutions experience today at study start and in the study environment. DIGI LIVES partner NLP Aalborg/ Center for Unges Livsmestring has worked intensively with students and educators at three partnering VETs to co-create life-coping methods to tackle challenges in study life. The outcome and inventiveness of students and educators at the workshops will be further digitalized by software project partner, Vividly.
Educators become creators of digital tools for impact.
Interactive solution company "Vividly" , shoulder to shoulder with Valmiera Gauja krasta high school(Latvia) and Edremit Abidin Pak Pakmaya Anatolian High School (Turkey) as well as partners in Hungary, have created two educational games. The games for social and design skills are adapted for easy use in the learning process, thematically fitting into lesson plans.

In the forum "For teachers from teachers", Valmiera Gauja krasta high school together with the interactive solutions company "Vividly" as well as a partner school from Edremit, Turkey, developed and presented two educational games for students. It allows educators to teach students social skills as well as design thinking in an innovative and exciting way.
How digital tools transform teachers’ role in classroom.
It’s not possible to deny, that digital tools have a huge impact on teacher roles nowadays and this impact can bring a great value to the teaching process if it’s used appropriately. Using digital tools in class will promote teachers’ facilitator role and enable teachers to provide students with diverse content, and different communication, production, and assessment tools.
